Keeley is a PhD student at the MIT Media Lab studying hidden influence in social networks. Her research focuses on techniques to model and detect online propaganda campaigns, and she is broadly interested in network analysis, distributed learning, privacy, and modeling complex systems. Before joining the MIT Media Lab, Keeley worked in the national security and defense space, and in the gaming industry. She designed a disinformation detection tool that is in operational use and core infrastructure for large-scale simulations and virtual worlds. Keeley received her BS and MEng in Computer Science from MIT.
